Hello
Welcome to My Blog!
I am the President and CEO of Global25, an organization dedicated to advancing economic, social, environmental, and educational justice for communities of color around the world. Based in New York, I lead project-based initiatives focused on S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), economic development, women’s empowerment, ESG strategies, and place-making to create meaningful and sustainable community impact.
Community engagement is at the core of my work. I serve on the Community Advisory Board of Queens Center Hospital and am an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and The Links, Incorporated, Greater Queens Chapter. My leadership experience includes serving as Co-Chair of the Jamaica NOW Art & Culture Committee and as an Art Producer with the Queens Council on the Arts, where I help advance arts and culture as catalysts for community development.
In 2016, I was honored to be selected as an International J’Rêve Fellow in Paris, where I collaborated with global leaders and institutions, including UNESCO and Fulbright, on initiatives that promote education, culture, and international exchange.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine and Environmental Science from Hampton University and an Advanced Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Brooklyn College. My background in environmental science, combined with my experience as a fellow at the Center for Environmental Analysis, has shaped my approach to education, community programming, and systems-level change.
Throughout my career, I have remained committed to creating opportunities that empower young people, strengthen communities, and prepare the next generation for academic achievement, leadership, and professional success.
I invite you to follow along on this journey through my blog, where I share insights, experiences, lessons learned, and the work being done to create positive change in our communities and beyond.
